God of War

The Village Oracle is an African woman of a village that Kratos slaughtered that included his wife Lysandra and child, Calliope. When Kratos and his men came to destroy the village, the oracle warned him not to enter the temple. The oracle proclaimed that from that day forward, "the mark of his terrible deed will be visible to all" as the ashes of his family merged with his skin, never to be removed, therefore creating the infamous nickname of the "Ghost of Sparta".
