Once ejected, Kratos awakens back on Valhalla's shore, where he's admonished by Freya and the Shield Maidens.

Etymology[]
In Norse mythology, Valgrind (lit. Gate of the Slain) is a gate locked by secret means which bars entrance to Valhalla. It is named by disguised Odin in Grímnismál.
