Thera's Bane

Thera’s Bane is a new magic/weapon that Kratos acquires in God of War: Ghost of Sparta . When freeing the Titan Thera , he rips this power from its chest. It has the ability to engulf the Blades of Athena in fire as well as to lunch projectiles of fire.
Trivia
- Thera is the name of an island in Greece north of Crete that was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 15th Century. According to Plato, the same eruption sank Atlantis.
