I'm not sure... The developers said that the monster attacking Kratos in the E3 demo was Charybdis but now Tisiphone transforms into a sea monster that looks like Charybdis, it even creates a huge whirlpool. When you fight Tisiphone in her monster form, the skin is a grey-black colour (although it could just appear that way because you fight her at night) and the skin of Charybdis was pink in the demo. It could be that Charybdis is fought at a different time and that it doesn't look like Tisiphone's monster form at all (they aren't similar when Kratos jumps onto Charybdis' mouth at the end of the demo as that monster had a beak). Long story short, Charybdis and Tisiphone's monster may be too different beings. We should probably wait until the game comes out or see if it's explained at all by the developers. Maybe you fight Charybdis in New Game+? They said some things may be different. Also, how do we know that Tisiphone is the one pictured on this article? It's never really clear which is Tisiphone and which is Alecto. At the end in Alecto's Chamber, the one pictured here for Tisiphone is seen first as if it's her chamber, then the one this wiki calls Alecto appears. So, how do you guys know which is which? Tisiphone/Charybdis

Ok, here's the thing...looks like game developers, got this great knack of completely making a demo different from the complete game...As we see in the complete game, they made a compound character in making Tisiphone have a second, monster form which is what was previously known/assumed as Charybdis...now this is a delicate situation...does the article stay in it's original form, or do we merge both as they are one and the same character?
