Stheno? or as close as it gets.[]

Though it is not labeled as Stheno, I have a feeling that they put this together to (in a way) represent a stheno encounter that they never got around to putting in any of the games. If it is literally labeled as "gaint gorgon"  in ascension then theres not much to go on. If they left it vague and open for interpretation then we can consider this the "non-cannon Stheno" for the wiki's sake. Or we can link Stheno mentions to this page for reference. If they ever apply a true Stheno character in a future game then we can reconsider this to be a normalish gorgon. I wouldn't this one to be a real gorgon queen normally but the fight reminds me too much of odd-school clash of titans to think otherwise. It may also add some charm to the multiplayer's Stoner challenge information (kinda like how one map has Polyphemus and not just a "giant cyclops") Any thoughts? I think you are right about the 'non-cannon' Stheno if they don't say anything, and we could perhaps add Stheno's mythology if it still remains uncertain. We could add a 'non-cannon Stheno' section to this page (after the game has been released) and put all links to there, the section could say "we are not certain if this Gorgon is Stheno as her name was not mentioned, but most consider it to be Stheno..." and then a bit of info and speculation (as long as it's not completely outlandish) to the section. Of course, if the giant Gorgon's origin is mentioned and it doesn't link in with any of Stheno's myth then it's pretty obvious that the two are different beings. So it seems Stheno is indeed mentioned in the multiplayer Bog stage, maybe they put that together to finally acknowledge Stheno. But the Giant Gorgon is the "Boss creature" of that stage so it must be fair to label the giant gorgon as the third Gorgon sister. (non cannon of course)

This Gorgon is indeed Stheno, as the introduction of the Bog of the Forgotten stage says: "Lies the inner sanctuary of the Gorgon, Stheno" when referecing the place. Shadow oogie (talk) 22:43, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
