Athenians set sail with Kratos to invade Atlantis?

Can someone confirm Kratos actually joins forces with Athenian soldiers in Ghost of Sparta?
And by someone, I mean someone who actually played the game?
Until then, I've removed that section since, to me at least, it sounds very doubtful.
