Talismans consist of items found in God of War (2018). Kratos can find them through the world or by purchasing them from the shops of Brok or Sindri. Talismans vary in rarity from Common to Epic. They upgrade with Dust of Realms and Pure Essence of Realms which can be found in Realm Tears.

- The Shattered Gauntlet of Ages is actually a reference to the Infinity Gauntlet, specifically the incarnation seen within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, seeing as God of War (2018) and Avengers: Infinity War were both set to release in April 2018.
- Much like its inspiration with the Infinity Stones, the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages can house specific enchantments, and utilize their unique properties, whenever the Gauntlet is activated. These enchantments are:
- Andvari's Soul, as the Soul Stone.
- Asgard's Shard of Existence, as the Reality Stone.
- Eye of the Outer Realm, as the Space Stone.
- Ivaldi's Corrupted Mind, as the Mind Stone.
- Muspelheim's Eye of Power, as the Power Stone.
- Njörd's Temporal Stone, as the Time Stone.
