Týr's Spear and Shield, are the base weapons of the Aesir God of War, Týr. They are introduced in God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla.
In God of War series[]
It is unknown when the Spear and Shield of Týr were created but they have become the most iconic of the God of War's weaponry. Several pieces of artwork such as the tapestries in his temple and of the giant statue that was made in his likeness, they all depict Týr wielding his signature spear and shield.
These weapons are first seen in God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla. They are the first weapons Týr used in his first spar with Kratos while in Valhalla.
Description[]
The spear is made of amber iron, with a bright yellow tip, three meters long, while the shield is gold, with a red circle and a Tiwaz rune (ᛏ) shining with several circles.
