The Steel Handles, formerly called the Wooden Blade Grips, are the default attachments for Kratos' Blades of Chaos in God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök.
Overview (2018)[]
First appearing in God of War (2018), the Wooden Blade Grips come at Level 4 and offer 8 points of Strength. They also cannot be sold.

Steel Handles[]
The Steel Handles return in God of War Ragnarök. While initially weak attachments which don't come with any stats or perks, should the player invest in upgrading them, the Steel Handles offer generous boosts to all stats but defense.
