The Spear of Olympus is a featured weapon in the upcoming game God of War: Ascension. So far it is only known to be a part of the multiplayer mode, present in both Arena as an obtainable weapon and in Desert of the Lost Souls, giving one of the teams, either the Spartans or the Trojans, who wield it the ability to kill Polyphemus.
