The Spartan Set is an armor set appearing in God of War: Ragnarok. The set was added to the game in the New Game+ update. It is made available after reaching Sindri's House and gaining access to the Huldra Brothers’ shop in NG+.
The armor is unique in that it has no stat increases, perks, or skills, and is permanently locked at level 1, meaning that Kratos is at a dangerous disadvantage while wearing it. The chest and arm pieces make it appear that Kratos isn’t wearing anything on them at all, leaving his upper body completely exposed and revealing the scars on his forearms left by the chains of the Blades of Chaos.

- Chest: Sorrow of Sparta. Costs 25,000 Hacksilver.
- Wrist: Scars of Sparta. Costs 16,500 Hacksilver.
- Waist: Woe of Sparta. Costs 16,500 Hacksilver.
Weapon Attachments[]
The following items cost 15,000 Hacksilver each.
- Axe: Grip of Sparta. A rugged grip from simpler times, primarily used in training.
- Blades: Pommels of Sparta. Weathered pommels echoing the past, primarily used in training.
- Spear: Hind of Sparta. A gnarled hind reminiscent of the agoge, primarily used in training.
- Shield: Rönd of Sparta. A worn rönd beaten down by time, primarily used in training.
Trivia[]
- If the Draupnir Spear has been edited to look as it did when first created, equipping the Hind of Sparta will cause the metallic portion of the spear underneath the cloth to turn green.
- This set makes a reference to the Greek times when Kratos also fought with a naked torso. For maximum similarity can use gloves and Ares belt.
