In God of War, the Aspis of Spartan Fury exists as a skin for the Guardian Shield. Kratos can obtain the Aspis of Spartan Fury, as well as the Radiant Shield of Unity, by completing the main story on the hardest difficulty: "Give Me God of War."
In God of War Ragnarök[]
In God of War Ragnarök, the Aspis of Spartan Fury (now simply called the "Spartan Aspis") returns as a separate shield Kratos can craft in New Game+. The Spartan Aspis is functionally identical to the Guardian Shield, but the Spartan Aspis has stronger parry counters in exchange for a tighter parry window.

Spartan Aspis+[]
Upon upgrading the shield to Level 9, Kratos has the option to replace and further upgrade it with the "Spartan Aspis +", at Brok and Sindri's shops.
