God of War Wiki

Despite the effects of Fimbulwinter, flowers still bloom across the nine realms. Freya spoke too much about these flowers and her desire to collect them while Atreus was away. I do remember Freya had an affinity for a white-petaled flower whose name I cannot recall.

Soulblossom is a flower native to Helheim. As part of the favor Nine Realms in Bloom in God of War Ragnarök, you can collect this flower for Freya's collection.

God of War Series[]

Soulblossom is a flower native to Helheim, and you can collect it for the Favor Nine Realms in Bloom, for Freya. Its petals are fiery red, with blackish purple petals and leaves. If you find it for Freya she will take it for her collection. Nine Realms in Bloom is one of the lengthier Side Quest Favors in God of War: Ragnarok, which tasks you with finding one flower from each of the Nine Realms. This is lengthier than it sounds, as roughly half of the flowers can only be found after you've completed the story.

Appearance[]

Soulblossom's appear as a cluster of deep purplish-pink flowers, resembling columbines, they are centrally positioned. Each flower displays a delicate, slightly ruffled petal structure. Gold glitter/speckles are visible on some of the petals. The foliage accompanying the flowers is characterized by long, flowing, and slightly wavy blades of a grass, with gold highlights that further enhance the luminescence of the arrangement.

Soulblossom - Helheim - Location[]

  • Location: Helheim - Helgrind

This flower is located in Helheim's Hel's Perch area at the end of the level, although it's technically closer to Shipyard of the Fallen and Helgrind. Either way, you cannot access it until you've resolved the situation with Garm. Once you've done so, you'll be North-West of your starting point, close to the Shipyard of the Fallen. The way up will be to leap up onto a bridge, but before you do that, check to the right of it for a Wind Vent you can plug up with a Draupnir Spear and make a swing pole out of. Once you've done that, leap onto the bridge, then go right, swing across the pole, and you'll find the Soul Blossom at the feet of a dead knight.

Trivia[]

  • Soulblossom's look like they were based off of Columbine flowers.
