The Rebellion of the Dwarves was an event mentioned in God of War Ragnarök. The Dwarven Rebellion was a movement promoted by Laufey followed by Durlin as a form of rebellion for the Dwarves to finally free themselves from the Aesir's hold. However, the rebellion was a failure, causing countless deaths and destruction to Svartalfheim. After the rebellion was stopped, Laufey battled Thor then ran off before the Aesir could catch her and Durlin was unfortunately punished by Heimdall.
