The Rönd of Purification is an attachment for Kratos' Shields in God of War Ragnarök.
Acquisition[]
God of War Ragnarök[]
Kratos can collect the Rönd of Purification from a Legendary Chest, found near the Well of Urd in Midgard. The chest in question is found while climbing up the cliffs to the Well. Instead of climbing up, Kratos can take a detour and climb around, to find a weak wall he can grapple-crash into with the Blades.
God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla[]
All weapon attachments and armor sets return in God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla, as purely cosmetic items. However, the Rönd of Purification has to be unlocked, by collecting and destroying a total of 30 Perk Glyphs from Kratos' tablet in one run. This can be done on any difficulty, but the player should ensure they collect and destroy as many Perk Glyphs as they can throughout Valhalla, and destroy whatever's left before ending the fight with Týr.

Rönd of Purification[]
The Rönd of Purification boosts Strength and Defence, and comes with the "Contagion Discharge" perk. If Kratos is afflicted by any status conditions (Burn, Frost, Poison, Shock or Bifröst), this perk allows him to cleanse himself of those status conditions, by blasting them onto his enemies when using shield strikes (double-tap 
).

While playing on New Game+, if Kratos has upgraded the Rönd of Purification to Level 9, he has the option to craft and replace it with the "Rönd of Purification +", at Brok and Sindri's shops.
