The Rönd of Fortification is an attachment for Kratos' Shields in God of War Ragnarök.
Acquisition[]
Kratos can receive the Rönd of Fortification from the Wishing Well in Vanaheim's Crater region. To receive it, Kratos needs to have collected enough Crystalline Fragments and Shards, before throwing them into the Wishing Well.

Rönd of Fortification[]
The Rönd of Fortification boosts Defence and comes with the "Fortification" perk. This perk allows shields to charge up a stun explosion, after blocking for several seconds. The explosion goes off when either an enemy makes contact with a raised shield, or if Kratos performs a successful shield strike.

Rönd of Fortification +[]
While playing on New Game+, if Kratos has upgraded the Rönd of Fortification to Level 9, he has the option to craft and replace it with the "Rönd of Fortification +", at Brok and Sindri's shops.
