The Rönd of Affliction is an attachment for Kratos' Shields in God of War Ragnarök.
Acquisition[]
Kratos can collect the Rönd of Affliction from a Legendary Chest, found in The Barrens of Alfheim. The chest in question is specifically found behind a crevice at the southwest corner of The Barrens, and is blocked by Hive Matter.
To clear the Hive Matter, Kratos will have to line up an Axe throw that ricochets off of some Twilight Stone, and recall the Axe at the right time and position, to break all of the Hive Matter's weak points.

Rönd of Affliction[]
The Rönd of Affliction boosts Defence, Runic and Cooldown, and comes with the "Strike of Affliction" perk. This perk allows shield strikes (double-tap 
) to consume an enemy's status ailments and create elemental explosions from them.
