PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is a crossover fighting video game, developed by SuperBot Entertainment, and in conjunction with SCE Santa Monica Studio. It is published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 video game console and it was released in North America on November 20, 2012 and Europe November 23, 2012.
History
Before its official announcement, rumours of a PlayStation crossover game had surfaced, bearing the name of Title Fight. These rumors were supplied by leaked images of Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, and Kratos from God of War. A survey, leaked by PlayStation Lifestyle, then revealed the official title: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The game was finally officially revealed on Game Trailers TV on April 26, 2012.
Gameplay
Similar in concept to Super Smash Bros., developed by Nintendo, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale allows up to four players to fight on screen, using characters from various PlayStation franchises. Every character in the game has their own combat style, and a special move that can be unleashed when a special meter reaches its full potential. The special moves for each character can be activated when the meter at the bottom builds up to the top, each move has three levels with level one being the weakest attack and level three being the strongest.
Stages in the game are inspired by two different franchises per stage. An early example shows Hades' Underworld invaded by the Patapon warriors. In Hades' attempts to fend them off, he unleashes devastating attacks that inflict damage on all four players in the foreground.

Trivia
- Kratos has the Morpheus Armor and Deimos as alternate costumes, with the former being unlockable in-game and the latter being a pre-order exclusive.
- Additional downloadable content added the Apollo skin as a purchasable costume for Kratos.
- For both his default costume and the Morpheus Armor, Fear Kratos appears as an alternate color. When Fear Kratos wears the Morpheus armour, the metal and cape turn white.
