The Onslaught Shield is wielded by Kratos in God of War Ragnarök.
Description[]
The Onslaught Shield is a shield that Kratos can acquire from a Legendary Chest, just after his first battle with Garm in Helheim. The chest is missable, and should that occur, the Huldra Brothers will grab it for you and add it to the blue coffin at their shops.
This shield's Strike (Double Tap L1) makes Kratos charge at an enemy while blocking incoming attacks, before striking. The strike delivered will be charged by the distance he ran, before striking.

While playing on New Game+, if the Onslaught Shield has been upgraded to Level 9, Kratos has the option to replace it by asking Brok and Sindri to craft its "+" variant.

Trivia[]
- The Onslaught Shield's Shield Strike ability seems to be based on "Charge of the White Bear", a Light Runic Attack for the Leviathan Axe in God of War (2018).
- Interestingly enough, if the player has the Leviathan Axe equipped before initiating a Shield Rush, they can charge up a Frost Awaken during the rush, so they can follow up with a Frost Awoken attack immediately after the rush ends.
