Greek Mythology[]
In Greek myth the Nyads (properly spelled Naiad) were Nymphs who preside over bodies of fresh-water, such as lakes. They were the daughters or creations of Poseidon.
God of War[]
In God of War, Nyads are found in the Flooded Passage of Challenge of Poseidon in Pandora's Temple. By catching these girls and kissing them, Kratos will receive a special gift of either a Gorgon Eye or a Phoenix Feather. In the God of War Collection, the "Splash" trophy is earned for kissing the Nyad.
