Description: Helheim, also known as Hel, is a Norse afterlife in the God of War series. It is where characters go when they die, and is also where certain deities of the universe reside. Unlike Valhalla, which appears to be strictly reserved for great heroes and warriors only, Helheim houses the vast majority of the rest of the universes more neutral inhabitants. I.e.; those whom die of purely natural causes such as old age, or sickness, as well as unnatural deaths such as those who are victims of murder and suicide. It's also where most of the criminal populations of the Nine Realms go after their deaths to their eternal punishments.
