Description[]
Mists of Helheim is a Heavy Runic Attack for the Leviathan Axe, which can be activated by pressing 
+ 
together. When activated, Kratos will throw the axe into the ground with such force, that it sends enemies flying and creates a temporary AOE hazard area, which slowly freezes enemies within it. Upgrades increase the size and duration of the hazard area.

Kratos can find Mists of Helheim in a Legendary Chest at Iron Cove, in Midgard. The chest in question is behind a sealed locked by runes.

"Mists of Helheim" returns in God of War Ragnarök. It can be found in a Legendary Chest at the Cliffside Ruins of Vanaheim's River Delta. The chest in question is on the other side of a raised bridge, but Kratos can reach the other side of it during the Favor "Conscience For The Dead".
