Template:Location Infobox Midgard is a major location in God of War. It is one of the Nine Realms of Nordic Mythology. It is the largest of the explorable regions. Midgard means "middle-ground" and is the realm that humans and mortals dwell - though it is not uncommon for the gods and other mythological creatures to make an appearance.
A major feature of Midgard is the Lake of Nine, a large traversable lake with a temple located on an island in the center. This temple is said to be the link between all Nine Realms.
