Kratos (Injured) is a locked state in God of War II and God of War: Ghost of Sparta.
In the God of War Series[]
God of War II[]
The game selects this costume automatically after Kratos has been hit by the hand of the Colossus of Rhodes and the God Armor falls apart.
In this state, Kratos has multiple injuries and scars all over his body, with his mesh armor and chestplate of the God Armor being totally destroyed. Being too injured and exhausted, he's incapable of jumping, rolling, or running fast, and can barely swing the Blades of Athena. Due to this, it's impossible for the player to properly fight back against Zeus, who, armed with the Blade of Olympus, easily dominates Kratos, pinning the Spartan to the ground and stabbing him in the abdomen.
God of War: Ghost of Sparta[]
The game automatically selects this costume after Kratos is defeated by Deimos, then Thanatos takes Deimos and jumps into Suicide Bluffs.
The gameplay is the same as in the second game, Kratos has the maximum amount of blood he can covering, but he can still activate Thera's Bane. After walking for a while, Kratos collapses. However, he recovers and jumps after Thanatos and Deimos. Upon reaching Suicide Bluffs, Kratos returns to his normal form.
