Jørgen The Oath Guard is a Traveler and a boss that is introduced in God of War: Ragnarök. He is one of Birgir's sworn brothers, who blindly follow The Path.

Description

Jørgen is one of the Oath guards, former brothers of the Traveler Birgir. Like all Travelers, Jørgen is a strong devoter and follower of the religious warrior's code known as The Path. After Birgir, his sworn brother, discovered that the code is merely nothing but to allow Odin to find a way into Jötunheim, and abandoned The Path, this caused Jørgen along with his fellow oath guards to label their former brother a heretic. The former kept a written letter from Birgir, who tried to convince them to abandon The Path as well.
