Mythology
Being Mortal means that the being in question is capable of death, or dying is human and is not immune to diseases and viruses. Most Gods and Titans are Immortal and cannot die, with a few exceptions.
In the God of War series
Before becoming a god, and after being stripped of his powers, Kratos became mortal but still possessed all his dormant powers such as Super Strength and Super Agility. Many other characters and beings through the games are mortal too, and some of that is actually proven and/or shown such as the Spartan warriors.
