God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla, also called Valhalla is a free DLC pack for God of War Ragnarök. It was released on December 12, 2023.
Following the events of the main game, Kratos and Mimir journeyed to the shores of Valhalla, where they had to go through a series of mysterious trials while at the same time Kratos attempts to make peace with his past along with what he used to be.

Gameplay[]
After the events of Ragnarök, Kratos sees a path for himself he never thought possible. In this DLC epilogue to God of War Ragnarök, Kratos enters Valhalla, a new location in the God of War Norse saga. Faced with echoes of his past, he fights to overcome the trials within himself and walk the path laid out before him.

- Leviathan Axe: Kratos's primary weapon, a one-handed battle axe with frost magic properties. The Leviathan Axe can be immediately recalled by Kratos after being thrown. The axe originally belonged to Faye, a Jötnar and the wife of Kratos and mother of Atreus. The brothers Sindri and Brok crafted the axe long ago.
- Kratos' Fists: Kratos can use his fists in unarmed combat and can perform multiple hit combos.
- Guardian Shield: Kratos has a gauntlet that transforms into a circular shield for parrying blows and wide-ranged attacks. The shield can be used to block attacks, projectiles, and a well-timed block can parry enemies' attacks. The shield can be upgraded to perform powerful slams and area-of-effect attacks.
- Blades of Chaos: Kratos' most vile weapons since his time in the world of Greece, twin chained-blades that possess fire magic properties. Originally given to him by Ares after pledging his loyalty to the God of War and stayed with him even after killing his former master, they can never leave Kratos no matter how much he tries to get rid of them.
- Draupnir Spear: Kratos forges this weapon from the Draupnir Ring, a ring that can duplicate itself, a spearhead, and his own blood with the help of the Lady of the Forge.
- Blade of Olympus: A gift from Valhalla to Kratos from his past memories. Available by selecting Spartan Rage "Legacy".

Trivia[]
- This DLC serves as an epilogue for God of War Ragnarök, which brought the Norse saga to an end.
- Some enemies and Monsters from the Greek Saga makes a return with some of them appearing as Valhalla's chosen slain. The Greek monsters that were featured are the Undead Legionnaires, Harpies, Legionnaire Captains, Sirens, Cyclopes, Wraiths, Minotaurs, and Centaurs.
- Wisp, Revenant, Phantom, Ancients, Stalker, Dragons and Drake do not return in Valhalla. While Wight can be encountered as enemies, they immediately disappear as soon they're defeated rather than being split apart into 3 Wisps like the base game.
- The cover art for the DLC might be a reference to the North American God of War II cover art.
