Glacial Catalysts are a Legendary resource found in God of War (2018).
Acquisition & Usage[]
Glacial Catalysts are used to upgrade the Epic Talisman "The Charm of Infinite Storms," and can be found in the following ways.
Thamur's Corpse[]
On the journey, Kratos and Atreus venture to Thamur's Corpse, in order to obtain a piece of the magic chisel. At the Chisel Tip, they will be engaged in combat by Magni and Modi.
After defeating the duo and obtaining the Chisel Tip piece, just through the gate Kratos unlocks immediately afterwards, will be a metal gate locked by Nornir Rune statues.
Destroying the 3 runes will unlock the gate, and just behind it will be a Glacial Catalyst next to a wooden chest and a dead Ogre.
Treasure Hunts[]
Additional Glacial Catalysts can be found in treasure spots, following the maps "Don't Blink" and "Njörd's Oarsmen."
