Gaia heart is a location within God of War III, a rocky area with a vine like plant heart of Gaia, which is protect by an unbreakable stone. When Gaia raises here heart rate, the heart itself, when exposed can give off large amounts of green orbs

God of War III

Battle with the Leviathan

At the beginning of the game Kratos goes inside Gaia via a wound inflicted by a Leviathan and while trying to find a way out. The heart has a movable pillar with climbing vegetation, on each wall there is a socket to place the pillar and climb upwards, on the left is a path further into Gaia's body and on the right is a small cliff with a hay bedding and a childish drawing of what looks likes a person.

Battle with Zeus

During the battle between Kratos and Zeus, it is revealed that Gaia is not dead as she disrupts the battle and tries to kill them both. Kratos and Zeus manage to escape by jumping inside her wound, he comes across Gaia's heart which is covered by onyx which can be destroyed by the Nemean Cestus, Zeus take advantage of Gaia open heart through Kratos' battle until Kratos uses the Blade of Olympus to stab both Zeus and Gaia's heart, thus killing Gaia and wounding Zeus.

Trivia

Gaia's heart looks and sounds like a human's heart, pumping an unknown substance, possibly as equally important as blood, through a vast piping of branches within her body.Her heart has the form of a tree.
