What is the weak spot of a Flame Phantom? toggle section
A Flame Phantom's vulnerability lies in its Runic Core, a glowing purple rune. Striking this core during its glow can stagger the Phantom, creating an opportunity for melee attacks. The Phantom draws magic from this core to sustain itself, making it essential to target the Runic Core first to stun the entity.

Etymology[]

While this creature doesn't exist in actual mythology, the last word Phantom is another way to describe a Ghost.

God of War Ragnarök[]

Two Flame Phantoms are found in separate realms; one can be located in Musphelheim while another one is in Vanaheim, but will only spawn during the favor Nocturnal Predator.

Nocturnal Predator[]

After Kratos and Freya/Atreus scared and sealed away all the Wisps that were eating away the insides of several animals into their runic springs, they immediately take advantage of it and turn into a Flame Phantom. It was immediately destroyed for good after it was weakened when all of the runic springs were destroyed.
