Thanatos.

Temple of Thanatos

Kratos at the temple.

The Temple of Thanatos is a location in the Domain of Death. It is Thanatos' abode and where Deimos is being held prisoner.

God of War: Ghost of Sparta[]

After passing through the Hall of Damnation, Kratos found himself at the temple, the very location in which his brother, Deimos, had been imprisoned. Upon entering the Temple, Thanatos, the God of Death, attempted to discourage Kratos in rescuing his brother. Kratos avoided its traps and chasms and went on his way. After rescuing Deimos, the two brothers battled as Deimos had revealed his anger towards Kratos for not rescuing him sooner. Deimos tackled Kratos over the Temple and began to pound him until Thanatos interrupted, taking Deimos to the Suicide Bluffs. Kratos then followed shortly after having recollected himself.

Trivia[]

  • The temple was built long before the rule of the Olympians by immortal hands.
