God of War Wiki

Dragon Beach is a region in Svartalfheim in God of War Ragnarök. Dragon Beach is one of the early shores you can explore in the Bay of Bounty on the east side, though the upper area is blocked until you find the right tools later in the story to reach Alberich's Hollow. There's still a few things you can do your first time here, but beware of a few low level Tatzelwurms and Grim that are ready to ambush you. You can also find another Ormr here along the north side of the beach under some wooden scaffolding. In order to get the drop on the creature, look for a gold chain up to the side and climb up. Even if you can't progress further, you can look down through a gap in the planks to throw your axe at the creature and get its resources.

Dragon Beach - Lore 1 - Don’t Breathe[]

  • Type: Rune Read

This piece of Lore is a Rune Read, and can be found in the Bay of Bounty. It's specifically at Dragon Beach, which is the Eastern shore of the bay's Southern area. You'll find it on a wall under the elevated wooden walkway, and close to a Nornir Chest.

Dragon Beach - Nornir Chest 1[]

  • Type: Idol

This Nornir Chest is found at Dragon Beach, which is on the Eastern shore of the Bay of Bounty's Southern area. You can find it at the very back of the beach, close to a Rune Read. All of the Runes will be obscured by geysers. The I Rune is found behind the Nornir Chest: freeze the geyser there to see where the Rune is, then recall the Axe and throw it again to smash it. If you need a guide, it's level with the top of the bush to the right of the geyser. The R Rune is located behind the petrified dragon at the Southern half of the beach. Freezing the geyser will reveal that the rune is protected by some metal grating: you'll have to circle around the statue and hit the Rune from behind. The F Rune is found at the shore: look for a geyser among some large bones close to the Southern boat shore. As before, freeze the geyser to get an idea of where the rune is, then recall and throw it at the rune to break it.

Dragon Beach - Buried Treasure 1 - Washed Ashore[]

  • Prerequisite: Complete the Forging Destiny main quest
  • Rewards:
    • Amulet Enchantment - Jotunheim's Virtue
    • 1 Asgardian Ingot
    • 1 Luminous Alloy
    • 1 Petrified Bone
    • 40 Shattered Runes

This Buried Treasure requires you to first find its Treasure Map. You can find it on Alberich Island, after you've completed the Forging Destiny main quest. Once you've collected the Treasure Map, head for the South end of Dragon Beach and dock the boat on the shore. The Buried Treasure will be glowing on your right, close to the giant skeleton in the water.

Dragon Beach - Petrified Boss - The Everlasting[]

  • Prerequisite: Acquire the Mystical Heirloom Relic from Midgard
  • Rewards:
    • Amulet Enchantment - Jotunheim's Force
    • 3 Dragon Claws
    • 40 Bonded Leather
    • 75 Shattered Runes
    • 50,000 Hacksilver

This boss is located on the titular Dragon Beach in Svartalfheim. However you cannot face it until you've found the Mystical Heirloom Relic, South-West of Tyr's Temple in Midgard. This itself requires you to complete the Forging Destiny main quest here in Svartalfheim. Once you've done that, dock the boat on the Southern beach at, well, Dragon Beach. Approach the statue, then ring the Mystical Heirloom Relic to free The Everlasting.

Dragon Beach - Yggdrasil Rift 1[]

  • Prerequisite: Complete the Forging Destiny main quest
  • Enemies:
    • Lvl 6 Wulver
    • Lvl 3 Nightmare Parasite
  • Rewards:
    • 1 Asgardian Ingot
    • 1 Luminous Alloy
    • 1 Petrified Bone
    • 15 Dust of Realms
    • 1,500 Hacksilver

The Yggdrasil Rift at the Dragon Beach is on the end of the huge wooden walkway that stretches across the middle of the beach. You cannot get up there until you complete the Forging Destiny main quest and acquire a new piece of equipment during it. Once you've done this, head to Dragon Beach and climb up the gold chain on the tall wooden structure on the Northern cliffs. Use your new equipment to use the Wind Vent and climb up to the top. There, use the grapple point to get onto the walkway, then slip under the wooden pole on your right to get to the rift.
