After doing so, he ventured forth in order to rescue his brother, Deimos. In here Kratos solved the domain's puzzles, removed obstacles, and shrugged off discouragement from Thanatos himself. Once being found and despite being rescued, Deimos attacked Kratos, winning the battle, and pounded Kratos with his [[Deimos' Gauntlets|gauntlets]], before Thanatos took him to the [[Suicide Bluffs]]. A mortally wounded Kratos staggered forward, as his desire to rescue Deimos had not lessened. He leaped from the nearby cliff and fell down to the Bluffs, albeit a long way from his brother.

The Domain of Death is Thanatos realm, where Kratos had gone to rescue his brother, Deimos.
