Docks of Charon

Kratos standing at the Docks of Charon.

This is a large dock located on the banks of the bloody River Styx in God of War: Chains of Olympus. Its marked by a giant statue of Charon, the ferryman of the Underworld. The dock also contains Charon's Bell, which one rings to summon Charon. Kratos comes to the docks after traversing the Ruins of Asphodel, and calls for Charon, but Charon refuses to let him pass. After escaping the depths of Tartarus, Kratos returns to the docks, and gets his revenge on Charon.

Trivia

  • If you do this part over again without starting from scratch, if you have the Gauntlet of Zeus the first time you come to the docks it is possible to simply smash down the gates without ringing Charon's bell although nothing new will happen.
