Despite the effects of Fimbulwinter, flowers still bloom across the nine realms. Freya spoke too much about these flowers and her desire to collect them while Atreus was away. I do remember Freya had an affinity for a white-petaled flower whose name I cannot recall.
Downbloom is a flower native to Alfheim, and you can collect it for the Favor Nine Realms in Bloom, for Freya. Its petals are a vibrant yellow and orange, with bright blue leaves. If you find it for Freya she will take it for her collection. Nine Realms in Bloom is one of the lengthier Side Quest Favors in God of War: Ragnarok, which tasks you with finding one flower from each of the Nine Realms. This is lengthier than it sounds, as roughly half of the flowers can only be found after you've completed the story.
Appearance[]
The plant features intricately detailed flowers, leaves, and roots. The flowers are a rich, slightly golden-orange hue, and appear to be intricate in design. The leaves of the plant on the stem are a cool, almost teal blue; the leaves seem to be structured into a cluster.
Dawnbloom - Alfheim - Location[]
Prerequisite: Complete the Song of the Sands Favor
Location: Alfheim - The Forbidden Sands
This Flower is the earliest one you can possibly find in the game, however you cannot access it until you free the second Hafgufa in the Song of the Sands Favor. Once you've done that, look for a long wooden fence with a ledge behind it in the Western portion of the region, West of the Freyr statue. Instead of climbing the ledge, look to your left and head into the dark area to find the Flower part-way through.
