"Who calls for the ferryman?"

–Charon

Charon's bell

Charon's bell.

Charon's Bell is a gigantic bell that hangs at the Dock of Charon. It is held by a statue of Charon himself. Ringing it, calls Charon to the docks. Very large, and seemingly cast of bronze, it's resonations are extremely loud. This is most likely to ensure that Charon hears it, wherever he may be. When Kratos reached the Docks of Charon, he rang the bell, summoning Charon. The second time Kratos comes by the bell, Charon does not appear. It might be since the ferryman guesses its the Spartan and doesn't wish to take him again.
