Attica is a costal city region in ancient Greece, pressumable in the area around the city of Athens. During the Greco-Persian Wars, the Persian Armies advanced to Attica before reaching Thermopylae.
In God of War: Chains of Olympus
In God of War: Chains of Olympus, this is where Kratos begins his quest. It's where he fights off an invading Persian army. As he makes way through the city, he also fights and kills the Persian King, and ultimately the Basilisk that's terrorizing the city.
