Fire of Ares is a Heavy Runic Attack for the Blades of Chaos, which can be activated by pressing +
together. When activated, Kratos will stab the Blades into the ground, sending forth a wave of fire. Upgrades allow extra slams by pressing
.
Acquisition[]
Fire of Ares is obtained as a reward for completing Brok & Sindri's final favor "Hail to the King."
In God of War Ragnarök[]
Description[]
Fire of Ares returns, under a new name: "Atlas Eruption." This time, instead of sending out waves of fire, Atlas Eruption now sees Kratos stab the ground repeatedly, to cause multiple mini-explosions over a wide area. The number of explosions increases by mashing .
Acquisition[]
Atlas Eruption can be found in a Legendary Chest at The Forge in Svartalfheim. This Legendary Chest is impossible to miss, as it is found just behind a gate that Kratos and Brok have to open together, by carefully controlling the pressure of different geysers.
