Greek Mythology
Artemis is Apollo's twin sister and the daughter of Zeus and Leto. Artemis is one of the three main goddesses of Olympus, who attends to the wilderness, its animals, and its hunter. Artemis has a large family, members including Ares, Athena and Kratos as her half-siblings.
In God of War
In God of War Artemis appears to Kratos in Pandora's Temple and gives him the Blade of Artemis to aid him in his quest to defeat Ares.
