Angrboða is a Jötunn, wife of Loki, and mother of Jörmungandr, Fenrir and Hel.
Norse Mythology
In Norse mythology, Angrboða or Angrboda is a female jötunn. In the Poetic Edda, Angrboða is mentioned only in Völuspá hin skamma as the mother of Fenrir by Loki.
In the God of War Series
God of War (2018)
While she's never mentioned along with her daughter, Jörmungandr's Jötunn Shrine specifically names her in Elder Futhark: "ᚨᛝᚱᛒᛟᚦᚨ". It's possible that she survived the genocide of the giants by Aesir gods since both of her sons Jörmungandr and Fenrir are alive and well even though her present whereabouts are currently unknown.
