Air vents 1

Kratos flying up an air vent.

During the events of God of War II, after Kratos takes Icarus' Wings from the crazed man, he comes across a few Air Vents in his adventure though the Palace of the Fates. Metal grates with powerful steams of wind blowing out of them, they are almost always placed on the floor. Kratos uses the vents to gain much needed height when using the Icarus Wings. It is these vents that allowed him to get through the temple, defeat the Kraken, and get to many other places.
