If Atreus is anything like his father he’ll see that prophecy and find a way to break it
Kratos would take the logic of the infinity stones and break it over his knee
*After defeating gullveig* gow 2018
Atreus: “alright, say it I told you so”.
Kratos: “I told you so”
Atreus: “you are naive foolish boy”
Kratos: “this is true as well”
I think it should be shown but I’m not sure it’s worth it’s own dedicated game.
Aphrodite and Apollo to name a few. There’s also a lot of minor gods that survived because they didn’t present a threat to kratos
I went with Latin American mythology there’s plenty of warrior gods for kratos to take on in that pantheon of gods
If the events of the next god of war are going to take place after the fimbulwinter we won’t see an adult Atreus
^ i have to disagree about him being weak. Kratos is a god by the time of gow (2018) so he’s up there in strength and power. Since he’s technically a god age doesn’t do quite the same to him as it would a mortal. Also he’s more thoughtful and less rage filled than he was in the other games
In this case I don’t think so. In the previous installments kratos was a rage filled god killer; in this latest installment we see a much more subdued kratos and he did tell Atreus that he would let Atreus kill him if it meant Atreus would live. You can’t really count his previous family against him because he was under the influence of ares so unless kratos was under the influence of a god I don’t think he’d kill Atreus.
Thor, odin, Anubis, set and Ra
^^^ yes I understand
This one is slightly more difficult to gauge since we know odin is all seeing but other than that we haven’t seen his power. Both are the heads of their respective pantheons so I’d assume it’s about the same
No love for síndri here
I’m gonna assume that it’s going to be the opposite of the MCU interpretation of Asgard. I think it’s going to be more of a landscape somewhat similar to Midgard with some old architecture similar to Tyr’s temple or even Freya’s hideout
Since odin is the leader of the Norse pantheon it stands to reason he would be the final boss
Baldur his reasons for attacking kratos were unknown at first. He even mistakes kratos for a giant and seemed to be unaware of his past
It should stay in antiquity I don’t think it would thrive in the other periods due to the heavy fantasy elements
No only because odin is consumed by paranoia similar to Zeus because ragnarok is looming and Odin is fated to die. Thor likely not because kratos kills magni and modi Thor’s sons and thor likely will follow his fathers orders to the end. Freya won’t because kratos kills her son baldur and she swore vengeance on kratos and will likely help odin begrudgingly
